This week we visited Clive’s Fruit Farm near Upton upon Severn. Despite the heavy rain which was falling at the beginning of the day, we had a brilliant trip and everyone learned a lot about the fruit farm and how it has changed over the years. We began by visiting the polytunnels and saw the raspberry and strawberry plants. Next, everyone picked their own punnet of strawberries and tasted three types of juice which are produced on the farm. We had our lunch in the polytunnels then went for a muddy walk to see the Forest School area, tunnel and cherry trees. We finished the day by picking a cherry to enjoy straight from the tree. Many thanks to the parents who came to help, and well done to Class 2 who were very polite and well behaved.
