The School Council was set up in 2004 to provide the pupils of the school to have a say in the way that the school is run.

The council meets once a fourghtnight and is made up of 2 pupils from each year group and a member of staff.

The School Council's rules are:

• 1: If you have something to say, put your thumbs up.
  2: Don't talk if someone else is talking.
  3: Listen carefully to what other people have to say.
  4: If you disagree, put your ideas across politely.
  5: Please stick to the item we are discussing.
  6: Please stick to these rules .

There will be a new football rota for play times. Tom and Archie will be in charge of the football rules becuase children complain that other children pick up the ball and run around with it(cheating). Also there will be a tuck shop with comic books for people to have, we will also be taking out comics for pupils to read but, if they fight over a comic, all the comics will be taken in side(you can also bring in your own comic books in). After school club have a new wii, if you have any wii games that you dont play on, you can give it to after school club for them to play with. We will be having a healthy lunch box day we will look on websites to give Staff ideas. Pyjama day will be having votes, if the boys wear boxers to bed, instead of them missing out they can bring in  a teddy in!
