In July, Key Stage 1 visited the Sealife Centre in Birmingham, where they encountered some weird and wonderful marine creatures. Some were breathtakingly beautiful, others exotically strange – and a few unbelievably ugly! Highlights were the Gentoo penguins that waddled comically on land but glided elegantly in the water, and the sharks that prowled ominously overhead in the walk-through tunnel. It was a busy day, with lots of other schools enjoying an end-of-term trip but, as ever, the Cradley children behaved impeccably. And to top off a lovely day, there was a bumpy ride on the top deck of the bus!
