All schools in England have been given funding especially for PE in schools. In Cradley, Surveys were carried out and interviews to see what the staff and children thought the money should be spent on. In 2015-2016, we received £8476.  We have spent the money on a range of activities, training and opportunities including; £1638 on Superstars, external coaches £1260.  We also paid for the coaches to transport the children to their outdoor and adventurous residential.

 ISSUE ACTION TAKEN  OUTCOME

Sports Mark

School applied for Sports Mark Gold

Entered a range of Level 2/3 events

School achieved Sports Mark Gold

Aiming to maintain Gold standard

Our Next Steps:

1, Further equipment to be purchased including new football goals and storage.

2, Maintain exteranl coaches and explore further diversity of sports.

3, Embed Real PE

4, Pupil and Staff questionnaires

We also have set up the School Sports Crew. The crew is made up for 4 Year 6 children; 2 boys and 2 girls. They are a point of call for the children in school, if they have any ideas of questions about PE. The crew will also take part in advertising, organising and running school sporting events.
