OFSTED

Our school was last inspected in September 2011.

We were very pleased with our inspection report, which stated:

  • “This is a good school. It is very welcoming and greatly values its strong ethos”
  • “All aspects of leadership and management are good except for safeguarding, which is excellent”
  • “Pupils feel safe and secure”
  • “Spiritual and moral development is especially positive and assemblies make a very effective contribution”
  • “The physical environment and ethos of the school are very welcoming so pupils feel valued and grow in confidence”
  • “Self-evaluation is effective and the school has a clear sense of direction, staff are optimistic and highly ambitious”

You can download the report here or direct from Ofsted.

SIAMS

Our last Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools was reported in November 2016. We were rated as Outstanding. You can download the report here

Since our last inspection, we have set our targets for development;

1. Ensure that religious education(RE) is consistently outstanding and that it fully contributes to the development of spirituality across the school.

2. Increase the rigour and frequency of monitoring in religious education in order to lead rapidly to improved learning outcomes.
